The Jesuit ruins of Jesus are located in the department of Itapúa, Paraguay.  They are one of the best-preserved of the Jesuit reductions.  To access this reduction you should take Route 6, which is born in the city of Encarnación and then move across unpaved roads. The Church of Jesus Reduction was under construction at the time of the Jesuits' expulsion from the Province of Río de la Plata.

The ruins of these missions reflect a form of religious life and education marked by a very singular style in which both, the Europeans and the guaranis could live together learning ones from the others.
